i think i’m still tired from last weekend’s party planning, but it went so well and everybody had a great time!
especially this little fairy:
the decor: we went with a sesame street theme with a leaning toward Abby Cadabby. it was perfect because it was girly enough to appease the birthday girl, but neutral enough for all her boy-friends.
balloons and paper products from Birthday Direct’s website.

table runner is wrapping paper from target.
for the sesame street DIY crayon tutorial included in the favor bags, click HERE.
the entertainment: the kids made Abby Cadabby wands with foam stars and a lollipop stick. they used glitter glue, markers, and stickers to decorate.
the bounce house was a huge hit with all the kids!
the food:
striped straws from DimeStoreBuddy on Etsy. aren’t they just adorbs!?
free water bottle labels, HERE.
Abby wand rice krispie pops and marshmallow pops in coordinating colors.
fruit kabobs
vanilla wafers+peanut butter+banana+ sprinkles= amazingly yummy!
the cake: yes, i made the Abby cake, but had the Wilton mold and step by step directions. and yes, it took me forever! and yes, i’d do it again because it surprisingly turned out really well.

she was dying to eat her cake for a good 24 hours—straight.
it was every other word out of her mouth.

Great job Mom!!!
I pinned this for you. Can I ask what dimension’s you made the water bottle label’s? I am making some Caillou one’s for my little guy’s 3rd (which is in ten days! YIKES!) and want to make sure I am doing it right.
Hey girl, send me an email and I can send you the actual file so you can see what size it is. You can even just do whatever you want to do over top of it in photoshop (elements) if you have it. the dimensions are roughly 9 in. x 2 in. hope your party goes well!
What an awesome party–you did a fabulous job! And I love your family photo.
Found you through Casey Wiegand’s blog. Stop by my blog and say hi sometime!

Fun party and great ideas. I have been searching for ideas that are practical for me. So cute.
Hi Andi,
I’m trying to email you for the printables on this party but it’s just not going through! Is you email address still active? I’m planning on throwing the same party for my little girl, Hannah, who will turn 2 on September 11th and would love to use your printables. I won’t come any where close to this but I’m braving it
