a girly{ish} sesame street themed birthday party.

i think i’m still tired from last weekend’s party planning, but it went so well and everybody had a great time!

especially this little fairy:

the decor:  we went with a sesame street theme with a leaning toward Abby Cadabby.  it was perfect because it was girly enough to appease the birthday girl, but neutral enough for all her boy-friends.

the entertainment:  the kids made Abby Cadabby wands with foam stars and a lollipop stick.  they used glitter glue, markers, and stickers to decorate.

vanilla wafers+peanut butter+banana+ sprinkles= amazingly yummy!

the cake:  yes, i made the Abby cake, but had the Wilton mold and step by step directions.  and yes, it took me forever!   and yes, i’d do it again because it surprisingly turned out really well.

  11. Hi Andi,
I’m trying to email you for the printables on this party but it’s just not going through! Is you email address still active? I’m planning on throwing the same party for my little girl, Hannah, who will turn 2 on September 11th and would love to use your printables. I won’t come any where close to this but I’m braving it ;-)

  12. Hi,
