well, today, i’m at it again with the beautiful, talented, hilarious Jenna from Life of the Wife.  she and i instantly hit it off at our blogging retreat in March and got “deep” right off the bat.  girl, there are things we know about each other that are TMI and we don’t even care!

Jenna spent time as a make-up artist and knows her stuff when it comes to beauty products.  she introduced me to dry shampoo and i am sold!  all that to say, she’s legit and you should listen to her.  take it away, girlfriend!

Hi sweet people of The Hollie Rogue! I am honored Andi is letting me have a WHOLE POST on her wonderful blog! It’s Jenna Takeover Day today (insert evil laugh here)!! I’m Jenna, by the way, and I blog over at The Life of the Wife. I am the Wife/Mama/Sarcasm Director over there. I write about pretty much anything that I want to (that’s the benefit have having a blog, eh?)!I LOVE sharing my tips/tricks/faves when it comes to beauty & makeup. Jenna’s Must-Have Spring/Summer Products!

SUNSCREEN w/ SPF
This is a MUST! I wear it everyday, but in the Spring/Summer, sunscreen is a “don’t leave home without it” product. Protect that skin, girlies!

A girl can never have too many Nail Polishes, right? In the Spring, I always like to change up my nail color A LOT A LOT A LOT. My two fave brands/color for this Spring:

I may or may not be a TAD obsessed with Tinted Moisturizers in the Summer. They are just so easy to throw on, and give moisture and just the right amount of coverage–without looking cake-y. Not all tinted moisturizers are created equally, though. After MUCH trial & error, these are two of my faves!

Ahhhhh Mascara. The never-ending search of finding the PERFECT one is tricky business!
As far as Waterproof ones go, these two are my favorites. They STAY ON (no bleeding, flaking, smearing) ALL DAY. I’ve tried both of these out while swimming in pools & lakes–and LOVE them.

When it’s hot out, I love to just throw a tinted lipbalm on. Sometimes, gloss is just too sticky and lipstick is too thick in the hot months! These two are my GO-TO ones!
