i followed Pioneer Woman’s recipe for the Egg-in-a-Hole except that i used a star cookie cutter instead of a round one.
the kids thought it was awesome to be eating stars and gave us a chance to talk about why we celebrate our country on the 4th.

I seriously almost made these yesterday! When I was growing up we called them toad-in-a-hole, I don’t know why. But I have some eggs that need eating and it’s a fun way to get rid of them.
