the weather around these parts has been so fabulous. so we took advantage and headed to the city farm yesterday.
there was a two week old calf that was seriously cute.
Sister isn’t afraid of anything, she even had a goat sticking its head through the gate and giving her kisses at one point in the morning.
i try to fill our mornings with authentic fun and educational activities. i also try and keep them as inexpensive as possible (the farm is free!). afterward, the smell of exhaustion, dust and adventure lingers on the kids all day. they nap well and the day, inevitably, goes much better for everyone involved. i don’t take for granted this sweet period in our lives while they are both home with me and we are able to have the freedom to plan whatever adventure comes our way.
how do you like to spend your mornings?

Happened upon this lovely post through Nat at Take the Cannoli:) … anyways..
AND she seems to be crazy like me. =) I adore crazy people. Haha;)
I LOVE Mae, because, well, her first name is the same as my middle name
