……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Hello Friends of The Hollie Rogue!! My name is Mae.

I have a lifestyle blog over at Two Hoots & a Holler, where I write about everything from being married to a musician, to crazy stories from my past, to my journey as an adoptive mama.  I’m a chronic list maker so I thought I could best introduce myself through two lists: my present and my past.

My Present:
1)  I’m married to a singer/songwriter.  We’ve been married for almost 8 years and we live with our two dogs in a small cottage in Music City, USA.
2) I’m 28… so if you just did the math, then you are correct, we got married really young. It may not be right for everyone but it was exactly right for us :)
3) My husband and I recently adopted our baby girl, Abiella.   Abiella won’t be allowed to enter the states for a few more months (1-600′s, birth certificates, visas, etc., etc. etc.) and the waiting is absolutely brutal. Abiella has suspected Microcephaly and Cerebral Palsy so we’re desperate to get her home and have her medical needs assessed as soon as possible. If you’re the praying kind your prayers are so, sooo appreciated.

4) We plan on having biological kids later, but wanted to adopt first.  You can read more about our story HERE.
My Past:

1) I once caught a 98 pound halibut in Alaska.

2) In the 4th grade I was the proud owner of rabbit teeth… that lived in my mouth.

Aren’t you so jealous??

3) For years I taught middle school and loved it. One time I even dressed up as a chicken for my students… who says incentives don’t work? :)

4) As a child, I had a pet zebra. #forreal. We called him Zelvis.Look at that- We’re better friends already! You should come over to my place and tell me a few things about you- BUT before you do, I’m giving you the awesome chance to get your hands on a smokin’ hot $25 gift card to Anthropologie…The holidays are coming up folks… think of the mugs, or scarves, or amazing holiday gifts you could get with that dough…

So get to entering friends and then come introduce yourself.  I love making new bloggy friends! Good luck!  I can smell the apple cider steaming out of your brand new Anthropologie tea kettle now…

……………………………..PLEASE KINDLY BE A FOLLOWER OF THE HOLLIE ROGUE BEFORE ENTERING……………………
