ever have one of those days where the sky is amazingly blue,
the temps are that perfect crisp/warm 69 degrees,
you can wear a sweatshirt with shorts,
the mountains are calling your name,
the kids are surprisingly compliant,
they even fall asleep in the car and then transport to their beds for longer naps! (whoa, this is really too good to be true),
the taste of fresh apples lingers on your taste buds,
and the perfect songs keep popping up on the radio?
we had one of those days today and i’m so glad that i savored every minute of it. it’s something i’m working on and today, i did it well.
yesterday? not so much. but today? yep, we had a good one.

I think that is truly one of life’s pleasures….being able to wear a sweatshirt/sweater with shorts. It’s the best of both worlds
