If you follow me on twitter, you’ve heard my ranting and raving about how much i LOVE Stitch Fix! i got my first “fix” right after we moved into the new house and couldn’t wait to try on every last beautiful piece.
ok, now let me back up a minute and explain a little about how it all works:
WHAT IS STITCH FIX?
Stitch Fix is a personal online stylist company that sends you a box of on-trend, well-made, designer clothes based on your own style profile. You then have a chance to try them on in your home, and can keep as many or as few as you want. Simply ship back the ones you don’t want in an already-postage-paid envelope and drop it off in any blue mailbox. SO easy and fun!
WHAT DOES THE BOX INCLUDE?
After I filled out my online profile which includes things like color & style preference and price range, I received these five beautiful pieces my stylist chose for me. She was seriously spot on and I would’ve bought all of them if we hadn’t just moved into a new house!
Here’s what I got:
yes, that’s a mattress in the background and a really messy closet. a girl’s got to have priorities, right?
WHAT DOES IT REALLY COST ME?
There is a $20 styling fee if you don’t buy any of the items, but if you buy at least one, the $20 fee goes toward the purchase of that item. You can schedule a “fix” whenever it is convenient for you and it is NOT a subscription service. I bought 2 of the pieces and am using them as “presents” for Christmas from my husband. It works for us, because he doesn’t have to stress about what to get me and I get to have some seriously cute clothes–win! win! I’ll just pretend to be surprised when I open them. Oh, and I should also mention, if you buy all 5 of the pieces, you get 25% off the entire order. That was a really big temptation for me, because that price for 5 really great staple pieces was fantastic!
WOULD I RECOMMEND GETTING A STITCH FIX “FIX?”
Yes! It is really perfect for me, because I don’t love the actual task of shopping. I always like stuff that other people pick out better than going to find it myself (hence, I wore all of my sister’s clothes at the Influence Conference). Plus, hello, it is almost impossible to take two kids and try on any amount of cute clothing when you are a full-time mom. They even include in the clothing tags ideas for how to wear the items in various ways. Stitch Fix is easy, fun, and I can’t wait to do it again!

GUESS WHICH ONES I KEPT:
Comment below about which two you think I kept and I’ll announce it in a couple of days.

I’m guessing you kept the navy floral dress and the color block sweater : ) What a fun idea!
I hope you kept both dresses! But that 1st sweater is super cute too! TELL ME!
I’d be willing to bet you kept the floral dress but I hope you also kept that red dress. But you can pull off anything- they all look cute on you!
umm… please tell me you kept both of those dresses! Love everything! xo
Those are all really cute on you!!! What a great idea. Who can shop with little ones around???
I would say the 2 dresses?
that red dress is STUNNING on you! but so is the floral dress
Thanks–one out of two isn’t bad!
Red dress??
What I want to know is what was the total cost of what you did purchase? I’m afraid I’ll just spend a bunch of money I don’t need to spend right now…
My guess is that you kept the sweater (because of the season) and the red dress!
Love the dresses. They both look fabulous on you.
For me, shopping is 1/2 the fun, so I’m not sure I would love getting a box in the mail without the thrill of the hunt, but that’s just me.
