Ohhhh, yeah.., got my “fix” a couple days before christmas and boy was i excited to see what was inside! this time, i got my husband involved in the decision and photo process and he really swayed my choice. it’s always good to get something that your husband thinks you look pretty in!
if you’ve never heard of Stitchfix, it is your own personal online stylist who picks out 5 items (based on your in-depth online profile and pinterest boards (if you wish)) and sends them to your house in a beautifully packaged box. you, then, can try on the clothes and decide what you want to keep and what you want to send back (shipping is free!).
here’s what i got this time:
navy print dress: i loved this print, but the actual fit of the dress what a little uncomfortable.
lace embellished striped sweater: liked it but didn’t love it.
blue star scarf: just too expensive for an accessory. (i won’t be including any accessories in my fixes from now on. i’d rather have 5 actual pieces of clothes rather than a piece of jewelry or scarf. this is an option in your profile).
gray sweater pullover: i LOVED the fabric of this and the comfy, casual feel it adds to any outfit. BUT….i have one that looks almost exactly like it already, so couldn’t keep it.
navy print ruched dress: the winner! this is the little number i kept and that my husband couldn’t get over saying that he liked. i think it is very versatile and i’ll be wearing it all year long!

OH, it is SO fun! i feel like i can get high quality staple pieces that i wouldn’t easily be able to find as a mom of two little ones living in the country
You got some great pieces! I’ve had kind of hit or miss luck with StitchFix. I have a fix scheduled for later this month, here’s hoping it’s got as good a selection as yours!
yeah, i’ve heard others say they were always happy with their fix, but i have lucked out, i guess. I also include a pinterest board and am open to new trends, etc. I would recommend, that you write a lot about your likes and dislikes in the message to the stylist section of your profile (bottom). Maybe that will help!
