* BIG NEWS:  after much thought and prayer, The Hollie Rogue Shop is closing down.  sad day, because we really love our embroidered necklaces, but it just isn’t fitting anymore with the direction of my goals for this blog.  the shop will stay open until Wednesday and there are only a few left, so hurry over if you want to get one!

* the redskins lost.  we are sad.

* for some unknown reason, this project has blown up on pinterest and has me thinking that i should start finding more pieces of furniture to fix up!  did you see my sidebar got spruced up a bit so that it is easy to pin my favorite projects?  you can thank the Blog Maven for that little tutorial!

*  i’m currently immersed in young love via the tv series Wildfire (on netflix) and the book Matched.  i’m not ashamed.

*  i’m starting to go to a bible study at my new church next week and i couldn’t be more excited to meet and connect to this new community.

*  speaking of a new community, if you love Jesus and women, now would be a great time to hop over to the Influence Network and sign up!  It is super affordable (only $10 a month) and you get access to a huge forum, printables, online classes, and beautiful group of women who are making much of Him through their online presence.  it is really exciting to be part of the influence community!

  1. Wow! So much to catch up on girl!!! Sees like a lot of us are moving in different directions for 2013! Crazy fun scary directions but it’s GREAT!

  2. Sad you’re closing shop but I totally get your decision! The hutch/chest thing looks great too! Can’t wait to see what you come up with!!

  3. Some serious decisions here…especially the colored tights! :) Loving your new mantle.

  4. Oh so sad your shop is closing. I love my necklace. I may have to try to snag one more. But I totally get changing directions or clarifying your path. I love to refinish furniture too and originally thought my blog would have before and afters but I always forgot to take the before pictures and now they’re already all done. And I hate having to explain steps taken. Definitely not a DIY kind of blogger.

  5. Ooooooo . . . pretty mantle – I love it! I don’t have a mantle in my apartment, but if I ever do, I’m inviting you over to help me decorate!

  6.  Hi, great post. I love the green dresser. I found you through the blog hop. Please stop  by and say hi when you get a chance.  .Be sure and check out my new Blog Hop that started. It’s Weekly Goals Link Up. It’s a great way to stay on track. Have a great day. :) Now following you.
