last week was a long, boring week.
we didn’t do much of anything and stayed home most days. the kids were at each others throats and honestly, i was a bit dreary-winter-too-cold-to-be-outside-stir crazy. or maybe just crazy.
either way, it wasn’t a fun week, but then this weekend came and God gave us a glimpse of the warm weather He will bring once again in a few months. it was amazing to be refinishing a chair outside on Saturday and we even had a bonfire, complete with hotdogs and smores for dinner.
such a welcomed reminder that He is good and that He will once again bring the spring and light even in this dark, cold season!

Goodness, I can relate. It is like Russia in PA. Cold, grey and cold, yuck…Looking forward to the beauty God unfolds in Spring.
ughhh i really don’t like the winter blahs – we’ve been having them around here too! although we got a little glimpse of sunshine yesterday & possibly today – who knows how long that will last.

OK…I live in San Diego…come visit anytime!! We’ve had a cold winter (for us), but yesterday was 77 degrees and not a cloud in the sky…gorgeous. Also…is that pic of your backyard?? If so, when can I come visit?? So beautiful!!
