20 Valentine Gift ideas for Kids

before we know it, Valentine’s Day will be here.  i’m not generally a huge gift-giver, but for the Holiday of LOVE, jon and i like to give our kids something small to show them how thankful we are to be the ones who get to love them as parents.  we always give them a book and write a little note in the front cover.  when they leave the house one day, they will have 18 books with love notes written specifically to them to take along with them (go ahead, collective “Awww!”).

here are a few other thoughtful Valentine gift ideas for the kids in your life:

We had the author, Audrey Penn, at our school’s Library yesterday. I was gonna order the book, the Kissing Hand, and give one to your kids and one to Sarah’s kids for Easter. If you already have one, please let me know. I wanted to submit the order tomorrow. It will have an autographed bookplate in it (she recently had hand surgery).
