“Many of us spend so much of our lives wishing or pretending we were somebody different from who we are, we never get to experience the sheer freedom of just being ourselves.” (from The Resolution for Women by Priscilla Shirer)

*our weekend was super low-key with us taking our turn at being sick. the babes are snotting, coughing, and running temperatures (and of course, all up in my face, too).
*i’m tired of winter.
*we have something (and by something, i mean some kind of rodent or squirrel) in our attic. we are on a raid to rid our home of them though. mission: stuckonatrap starts tonight.
*i love Aldi. you know the grocery store? seriously, it save us SO much money.
*if you missed it last week, there is a scripture canvas giveaway from Rich In Blessings going on right now! easy entry!
*i’m reading The Resolution for Women (see quote above), and it is really rocking my world. it’s got me thinking about the authentic me—the real me that God wants to use for His Glory. He doesn’t have to use me—He’s a big God and can do His purposes in whatever ways He desires, but the fact that He knows me, examines me, protects me, prepares me, and strengthens me to be the only one of me in this world seems like i ought to desire to know me too.
perhaps this can give you some encouragement today too.
what makes you, authentically you?

Love this! I am wrestling with the same stuff. Wish we could sit and have coffee together this morning friend. xoxo
